Can I apply DUO® Adhesive directly on my eyelids?

No, DUO® Adhesives are formulated to only be applied to lash bands or knotted ends of individual lashes. Applying DUO® Adhesives directly on your eyelids may cause eye and skin irritation.

What is the difference between Striplash Adhesive and Individual Lash Adhesive?

Strip Lash Adhesive is a latex-based adhesive made for strip lashes and lasts several hours. It can also be used to apply individual lashes for one day or evening. Individual Lash Adhesive is a latex-free long-lasting formula intended to keep individual lashes on for 2-4 weeks.

Is it okay to wear strip lashes to bed?

We don’t recommend it. During sleep your lashes may get bent or come off. It's always best to remove eye makeup and wash your face before you go to bed.

What are the differences between clear and dark adhesive?

Dark adhesive dries dark and helps hide the lash band. Clear adhesive will dry clear.

How do I remove strip lashes that were applied with DUO® Striplash Adhesive from my eyelid?

Gently peel lash off lid, starting at the outer corner. Clean lash band by peeling off residual adhesive. Makeup remover or baby oil may be used to remove residual adhesive on eyelids.

Is it safe to use DUO® Adhesive if I’m allergic to latex?

If you have known allergies to latex, we recommend DUO® Brush On Striplash Adhesive and/or DUO® Individual Lash Adhesive. Do not use DUO® Striplash Adhesive in Clear/White or Dark as they contain latex.

Can I use DUO® Adhesive on other parts of my body, such as applying temporary body art?

Yes, you can use DUO® Striplash Adhesive in Clear/White or Dark unless you are allergic to latex.

I'm finding the adhesive is too slippery, am I doing something wrong?

For easy application, apply adhesive to lash and wait 30 seconds for it to become tacky before putting your lashes on.

Should I put my makeup on before or after applying strip lashes?

We suggest applying full makeup first, and lashes last. Some prefer to apply eyeliner last, to blend in the lash band.

How to apply

When mascara just won’t do the trick, we turn to our beautiful Taylor Beauty Lashes to heighten the drama. But, Just tell me,  how many times has applying false eyelashes turned out into a sticky mess of glue with your lashes maybe applied more or less down or more or less up.

  1. Measure False Lashes: All our Taylor Beauty lashes have the same length band however ,to get a more natural fit and finish, first measure your false lashes to fit ¾ the length of your lash line (leaving the inner corner bare). Then trim off the excess. For the most natural look, trim from the end with longer hairs. This will help the false lashes work more seamlessly with your natural lash line and length.

  2. Apply Duo Glue: Either apply directly or use a cotton swab to drag a very (very) thin line of glue along the bottom of the false eyelashes. Let dry for 30 seconds—this is super important if you don’t want to end up with a sticky mess around your eye instead of gorgeous gravity-defying lashes.

  3. Place & Press: Place the fake lashes directly in the centre of your lash line then gently press toward either edge, squeezing (but never pulling!) very, very gently into your real lashes. Wait until glue is clear, so you know that it’s dry, before putting any makeup on your eyes.

  4. Disguise with Eyeliner: Use your favourite black liner to hide the glue strip, but try not to draw too thick of a line to keep the lashes looking their natural best.

  5. Brush & Finish with Mascara: With a clean spoolie, carefully brush fake and real lashes together so they’re completely intermixed without a noticeable gap. Finish with just enough mascara to finish blending false and real lashes together—nothing too thick to keep the look naturally gorgeous.

Beauty Sponges
Within the pink  we have chosen to use non-toxic, water-soluble dyes. For this reason, your sponge may shed dye for the first couple of washes—similar to a pair of blue jeans. Once you squeeze the water out of the sponge, the excess dye is removed as well. The dye does not transfer to the skin.

My blender looks moldy, what do I do?

Discontinue use if you notice any mold. Proper care is essential for your blender and should help prevent any mold. It’s best to replace your blender every 3 months for the best bounce and application.
